Pepsi Soda Helping In Search To Find Pepsi The Dog A Home
The company is helping a local dog with the same name find his forever home.

AMITYVILLE, NY — Pepsi, the national soda company, is helping to find a local dog with the same name his forever home. Pepsi the dog is currently living in the Babylon Animal Shelter on 80 New Highway in Amityville. Recently, a post about Pepsi on social media garnered the attention of the soda company, who shared the post on its Facebook page, which has over 37 million 'Likes.'
The dog was actually named after the famous soda because last year, he was found running scared in the streets and was trapped near the Pepsi factory before eventually being taken to the shelter. According to the Facebook post, Pepsi's owner was notified that he was at the shelter, but they never came.
On National Rescue Dog Day last week, the company shared the post on Facebook and even offered to cover the adoption fee for the pup.
