Planned Road Work On Wellwood Avenue Postponed
The work was originally scheduled for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday that road work planned for Wellwood Avenue in the Town of Babylon has been postponed. The delay is due to the weather. A new date has not yet been scheduled.
The work was originally planned for Tuesday starting at 10 p.m. through Wednesday at 5 a.m. for maintenance to the overhead sign structures at both ends of the bridge.
The closures were meant to take place on a portion of the road at Sunrise Highway.
