Police Release Additional Photos From N. Amityville Hit-And-Run
The driver of the hit-and-run, which seriously injured a pedestrian last month, is still at large. Police are offering a reward for info.

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — Suffolk police released additional photos from a hit-and-run in North Amityville that seriously injured a pedestrian last month.
On Aug. 25, the 30-year-old Amityville man was walking in the westbound lanes of Sunrise Highway, just went of Bayview Avenue, at 1:30 a.m. when he was struck by a tractor trailer. The driver fled the scene in the truck.
The man was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries.
