Post-Sandy Yard Recovery Seminar Set for Sat. at Rainbow Center
The Village of Lindenhurst sponsors this seminar featuring specialists from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. It starts at 10 a.m. on April 27.
The Village of Lindenhurst is holding a Post-Hurricane Sandy Yard Recovery Workshop on Saturday, April 27.
It starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 12 p.m. at the Lindenhurst Rainbow Senior Center, located at 293 Buffalo Avenue (between 34th and 35th Streets).
"Specialists from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County will give a presentation on topics to include landscape concerns; storm damage issues and remedies; salt- and drought-tolerant plant suggestions; and saving your Eastern white pines," Village Trustee Maryann Weckerle told Lindenhurst Patch via e-mail on Wednesday.
