Rall Students Dress for Success on Career Day
The Lindenhurst elementary school students not only dress as who they want to be when grew up, but also learn about the Supreme Court.
Stacey Bressi’s third-grade students at William Rall Elementary School enjoyed engaging projects during the week originally scheduled as mid-Winter recess.
To pique students’ interest Bressi led a student debate about the pros and cons about coming to school during a scheduled break.
Students also wrote opinion pieces and worked on a court case to learn about the Supreme Court. They then prepared arguments and presented their side.
As a part of the celebration, all Rall students dressed as their “dream jobs,” including rock and movie stars, lawyers, teachers, principals and intelligence agents for Career Day.
Students came dressed in clothes showing what they'd like to be when they grow up.
