Residents Rally For Sandy Help, Concert On The Beach Wednesday

- A group of Lindenhurst residents rallied at one of the village’s busiest intersections on Monday afternoon, getting the word out to passerbys – nine months after Hurricane Sandy and the flooded areas still need help. See the photos here.
- Students, faculty and administrators recently paid tribute to retiring teacher Rose Russo in a tear-filled outdoor ceremony.
- Catch Desert Highway, an Eagles Tribute band, perform with Milagro at 7 p.m. at Overlook Beach in Babylon. The concert is a benefit for the Town of Babylon Chiefs Association Hurricane Relief Fund. A donation of $5 per car is recommended.
