Sand City South, Lindenhurst Brewery Opens This Weekend

After a long-awaited buildout, the South Shore outpost of popular Northport brewery Sand City opens its doors Friday.

LINDENHURST, NY — Sand City South is finally open. The Lindenhurst brewery is the second location from Northport's Sand City Brewery owners. The long-awaited opening comes a year after construction began on the former CVS at 150 S. Wellwood Ave.

The brewery announced the weekend's hours of operation on Instagram. Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. To follow New York State health regulations, customers must remain seated while indoors, masks must be worn while not seated and there will be limited capacity.

Sand City South also has an outdoor seating area, with a fire pit, where leashed dogs are welcome.
