Scholar-Athlete Josh Sposito Honored by Lindy Schools
Lindenhurst High School senior Sposito is recognized for his bowling and academic achievements by the District.

Lindenhurst High School senior Josh Sposito was honored for his bowling prowess by the District at the most recent Lindenhurst Board of Education Community Forum.
According to Superintendent Richard Nathan, Sposito has averaged over 200 all four years he's been on the Varsity Boys Bowling team coached by Mike Cucciniello.
Last year he was ranked fourth in Suffolk County after competing in the Section XI High School Bowling County Championships. This year he was ranked fifth.

Sposito also qualified for the third year in a row to be on the Section XI All-Star Bowling Team, which has enabled him to compete in the NYSPHSAA Bowling Championship, Valley Bowling Center in Waverly (Sec IV) in upstate New York for the past three years.
In addition to his achievements on the bowling team, which also include two perfect 300 games and a 221 average in this his senior year, said the superintendent, scholar-athlete Sposito will graduate in June as the salutatorian of the Class of 2013.
