SCPA Blog: 'April Is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month'

The Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) recently posted on Lindenhurst Patch about what people could do to help stop animal cruelty.

"What should you do if you suspect cruelty to an animal? Contact the Suffolk County SPCA or your local law enforcement agency," wrote the SPCA.

The agency went on to say that as a witness a person who reports animal cruelty needs to provide information about the situation, such as what, where, who and when.
