Long Island Snow Totals

The snow has ended and the National Weather Service has reported snow totals for many towns.

The snow has ended across Long Island but not before creating a slushy mess on the roadways, leading to numerous minor crashes Saturday morning.

A winter weather advisory has now ended, but the rain will hang around until mid-afternoon. The National Weather Service has released unofficial snowfall totals for many Long Island towns. Check them out below along with the full forecast.

Saturday Afternoon- Rain, mainly before 3pm, then patchy drizzle with a chance of light rain after 3pm. High near 41. West wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday Night- Patchy drizzle and fog with a chance of light rain. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 50 by 5am. Breezy, with a southwest wind 13 to 20 mph.

Sunday- Rain. Patchy fog before 10am. Temperature rising to near 55 by 11am, then falling to around 48 during the remainder of the day. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 22 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
