Storm Leaves Flooded Roads In Lindenhurst
Residents are still wading in the flood waters following the storm Thursday night. Another coastal flood warning is in effect for Friday.

LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst residents are still experiencing flooding following a nor'easter that hit Long Island Thursday night. A coastal flood warning was in effect from 5 p.m. until midnight for southern Nassau County and southwestern Suffolk County.
The storm caused property damage, widespread flooding of vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline, and 2-3 feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying, vulnerable areas. Winds also hit 50 mph.
On Friday morning, some Lindenhurst residents had their morning made a little difficult thanks to street flooding still affecting the area.
