Subaru Raises $129K For Northwell Health Programs
Subaru donated $129,420 in proceeds from its Share the Love program to three Northwell Health programs.

Grand Prix Subaru of Hicksville, South Shore Subaru of Lindenhurst and Empire Subaru of Huntington recently donated $129,420 in proceeds from Subaru’s Share the Love program to three Northwell Health programs.

Grand Prix and South Shore Subaru made a $75,794.47 donation to support the efforts of Northwell Health’s Community and Population Health team to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in underserved Long Island communities, and a $30,886.75 donation to advance childhood cancer research at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, while Empire Subaru donated $22,759.36 to Huntington Hospital’s Neurosurgery Department.
This is the sixth year Grand Prix and South Shore Subaru made donations to Cohen Children’s and the third year Empire Subaru donated to Huntington Hospital.

For every vehicle leased or sold at the dealerships between November 19, 2020 and January 4, 2021, Subaru donated $250 to the programs.
Brian Lally, Northwell's senior vice president and chief development officer said, “Subaru's steadfast commitment to its community is a value we admire and share, and we are grateful that our three programs were selected as recipients. Philanthropic support from Subaru and our communities helps us to advance care for our patients.”
Northwell Health publicly launched its seven-year, Outpacing the Impossible fundraising campaign in October 2018 with a goal of raising $1 billion to support capital projects, improve hospitals and clinical programs, advance research and fund endowment for teaching and research initiatives. To date, Northwell has raised more than $800 million.

Over the last 13 years, through the Subaru Share the Love Event, Subaru of America Inc. and its participating retailers have donated more than $200 million to charity.
