Summer Concert: Starship Ft. Mickey Thomas
Rock band plays free show at Tanner Park Friday.
Starship featuring Mickey Thomas will perform Friday at Tanner Park.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. as part of Town of Babylon's free Summer Concert Series.
The group, formed in 1979, has recorded anthems such as “We Built This City”, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” and “Sara."
Be sure to bring a blanket or chair to sit on.
Guests are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Town of Babylon Food Pantry. Collection bins will be placed around the venue.
Tanner Park is located on Kerrigan Road in Copiague.
