Tax Blogger Talks Child & Dependent Care Tax Credit
'If you paid someone to care for your child, dependent or spouse last year, you may qualify for the child and dependent care credit,' says Patch blogger Dianne Besunder.
Lindenhurst Patch Blogger Dianne Besunder recently posted tax tips for those in the midst of the doing their taxes this season.
"The Child and Dependent Care Credit can help offset some of the costs you pay for the care of your child, a dependent or a spouse. Here are 10 facts the IRS wants you to know about the tax credit for child and dependent care expenses," wrote Besunder, Internal Revenue Service spokeswoman.
She went on to list 10 tips for those who want to learn more about this available tax credit.
