Lindenhurst-based Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) will hold its Third Annual Babylon Art Festival Art Show in Babylon Village during the weekend of May 3.

The show features artwork produced by Babylon-area students in the Babylon School District, Dowling College and Farmingdale State College, showcasing work featuring this year’s show theme “LIGHT” and inspired by the 1913 poem Trees by Joyce Kilmer.

The art show - set for Old Town Hall at 47 West Main Street in Babylon Village - will include a special exhibit, dubbed Art in Science, which'll highlight award-winning science projects that also have artistically creative visual appeal.

The show is set to begin with an awards presentation and reception on Friday, May 3, at 5 p.m., lasting until 9 p.m.

All are welcome, according to BACCA officials in a release about the show.

The exhibit continues on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
