Universal Pre-K Lottery for Lindenhurst UFSD

Lindenhurst Union Free School District is excited to announce that the district has
been granted funds for a Universal Pre-K program to begin in September 2021. This will be
a full day program, running Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m.- 2:30
p.m. at locations still to be determined. There is NO COST to participate in this program,
however, you are responsible to provide your own transportation.

Seats are limited and students will be selected for the program on a lottery basis.
The lottery is not on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all seats are filled, children will
be placed on a waiting list. Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria:
ï‚· Be a Lindenhurst resident
ï‚· Be 4 years of age on or before Dec. 1, 2021
Application for the UPK lottery can be found on the district’s website at
www.lindenhurstschools.org or at the McKenna Administration Building, 350 Daniel St.
Interested parties should print/complete the UPK Lottery Application. Once fully
completed, the form should be mailed to:

All eligible submissions received by Friday, June 18, 2021 will be considered.
Students who are selected to participate through the lottery process, will be notified of
their acceptance in early July and will be required to complete the registration process at
that time.
