Upcoming Book Discussions at the LML

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.

The Lindenhurst Memorial Library often hosts these events for little or no charge. And while the LML is currently undergoing renovations, there might not be many programs happening right now. However, there are a few upcoming book discussions.

One is the Long Island Reads Book Discussion that's scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., according to information posted on the LML website.

Another is the Monthly Book Discussion that's scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., according to information posted on the LML website.

There's also an informational meeting - Friend of the Library Informational Meeting - that's scheduled for Thursday, May 16, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to information posted on the LML website.

"We're looking for friends! We invite you to join an informational meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 7 p.m.," the LML wrote on its Facebook page.

"All are welcome to attend. For further information contact the Community Relations Coordinator at 631-957-7755, extension 124," the LML added.
