William Rall Elementary School students enjoyed a special educational program from Volunteers for Wildlife.

Students learned about Ollie the snake, Martin the possum, Marcus the great horn owl and Duncan the Eastern owl from clinic assistant Addie Cappello from the Volunteers for Wildlife.

She discussed their natural settings, how they came to the organization and how the animals get their food, as she brought out each species.

Volunteers for Wildlife is a non-profit organization and education center dedicated to promoting conservation and preservation of Long Island’s wildlife and natural habitats through educational programs and wildlife rehabilitation.
