The chance of rain and thunderstorms will continue through Sunday night. A total of 1-2 inches of rain is expected to fall across the area, although amounts of up to 3 inches will be possible in thunderstorms, the NWS says.

A flood watch, according to the NWS, means ”there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.“
