Coastal Flooding Possible Tonight Along South Shore

Coastal homes and roads are particularly vulnerable during tonight's high tide.

The National Weather Services is warning residents that coastal flooding is possible tonight along the South Shore of Long Island.

During high tide tonight, from about 7 to 10 p.m., there could be localized minor coastal flooding for the South Shore in all of Nassau County and the western half of Suffolk County.

Vulnerable shoreline roads and homes could be affected, the NWS says.
