Flood Warning Issued For South Shore Through Wednesday Night
The Nor'Easter could bring tides two to three feet higher than normal to coastal areas.

A flood warning has been issued for much of the South Shore ahead of the Nor'Easter that is going to hit late Wednesday night.
According to the National Weather Service, flooding is possible when the tide comes in tonight through Wednesday night. The tides could be up three feet higher than normal tonight, and 3 1/2 feet higher on Wednesday.

Inundation of to 2 to 3 feet above ground level expected in vulnerable areas with the high tide cycle tonight, and 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 feet with the high tide cycle on Wednesday, This will result in numerous road closures
and cause widespread flooding of low lying property near the waterfront. Vehicles left in vulnerable areas near the waterfront will likely become flooded or suffer damage to brakes from sea water.
