Free Summertime Concerts Coming Back To Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — Free concerts are back this summer.

The "Music on the Beach" series will rotate locales in Long Beach, starting with New York Avenue Beach on July 7.

It is scheduled to take place every Wednesday night at 8, the city said on its website.

"The beach concert series is a great tradition here in our city by the sea, and we are so happy to bring them back after COVID," Parks and Recreation Commissioner Joseph Brand said in a statement. "Our team has been working to compile a diverse and talented lineup with something for everyone! We hope you will join us for one or all of the shows and enjoy a night under the stars on our beautiful beach."

The concerts will also take place at Riverside Boulevard and Neptune Boulevard, and are expected to run through September 1.

Blankets or beach chairs will not be provided.
