LBPD: DWI, Resisting Arrest, Robbery Charges

Long Beach Police reported the following information. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.

• July 20: Rafael Sanchez, 24, of Plainview, charged with DWI.
• July 22: Jimmy Ochoa, 32, of Long Beach, charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
• July 23: John Kane, 43, of Long Beach, charged with third-degree robbery and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
• July 23: Stephen DeFazio, 38, of Long Beach, charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest.
• July 25: Pedro Galan, 32, of Long Beach, charged with DWAI and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• July 25: Geoffrey Gruszczynsky, 31, of Island Park, charged with DWI and driving with a suspended license.
• July 25: Kristie Steele, 25, of Island Park, charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, driving with a suspended license, and an active Nassau County District Court warrant.
