LONG BEACH, NY — July Fourth events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Long Beach.

However, the city's annual fireworks display is not entirely gone. The fireworks, originally scheduled for July 10, are now tentatively scheduled for Sept. 4, city officials said. There's a rain date of Sept. 5.

Of course, whether the fireworks happen then also depends on the state of the coronavirus and how it is affecting New York.
