Long Beach Changes Morning Bus Schedule Due To LIRR Cutbacks
The city temporarily changed when its buses run to coincide with the new train times.

LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach is changing its bus schedule to align with the new train schedule the LIRR is using.
Due to decreased ridership brought about by the pandemic, the LIRR scaled back service on many of its branches, including the Long Beach Branch. Because of this, the city announced that it would be temporarily changing its morning bus schedule to better align with the new train departure times.
Six of the normal bus departures during the morning rush hour are being changed, the city said. All other bus schedules will remain the same.
