Long Beach Film Festival Announces Concert Lineup

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach International Film Festival is returning to the City by the Sea at the end of the month. And with it comes the annual Concert on the Beach.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, the free Concert on the Beach features performances from the reggae/rock band Aqua Cherry, singer/songwriter Sammi Rae with Reggaetón artist Los Vegas, and Long Beach’s own DJ CHEF.

During its four-day run, the film festival will feature an array of nightly special events, including red carpet premieres, gala celebrations, filmmaker receptions, filmmaker Q&As, international spotlights, industry seminars and musical performances.

“Our live musical performances really set the tone for a great evening of food and film appreciation in a unique setting. It’s a wonderful treat for our community,” said LBIFF co-founder Craig Weintraub.
