Long Beach Film Festival to Host 'Taste of the Oscars' Fundraising Party

The event will raise money for the Madison Theatre Scholarship for young filmmakers, created in actor Burt Young's name.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY - The Long Beach International Film Festival will be hosting their “Taste of the Oscars” fundraising party in Rockville Centre this weekend.

The event will take place at the Madison Theatre Madison Theatre at Molloy College located on 1000 Hempstead Avenue on Sunday, Feb. 28 starting at 5:30 p.m.

Actor Burt Young will be a special honoree and host Paul Bond, will MC the festivities, games and trivia.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Madison Theatre Scholarship for young filmmakers, established in Young’s name.

Other celebrity guests that are expected to attend include: Celebrity Jewelry Designer from Kravitz Jewelers, Idayne Kaye, (Designs for Cameron Diaz and Miley Cyrus) Chef Jonathan Scinto, from Masterchef Comedian Paul Bond Samantha Brooks, Celebrity cake designer (Designer for Jennifer Lopez) Jaimie Stewart, News 12 Sports Anchor Donna Drake, CBS Live It Up Live star AJ Espinoza from Masterchef Junior Comedian Carrie Karivis.

Tickets are $50 for general theatre seating or $100 for VIP stage seating.
