The firefighters are currently trying to contain the blaze at a church.
Long Beach firefighters are currently battling a blaze at a church on Long Beach Boulevard.
The call for the fire came in around 3 p.m. at the church at 299 Long Beach Blvd., at the intersection with East Walnut Street.
It's unclear at this time what started the fire or if anyone was injured. Long Beach Police have shut down roads nearby, and drivers should find alternate routes.
