Long Beach LIRR Parking Garage Renovations Near Completion

LONG BEACH, NY — A multi-faceted restoration project at the Long Beach Long Island Railroad station is progressing.

Work is focusing on the parking garage, where the structure is receiving new bracing and sealant, the City of Long Beach posted on its Facebook page.

In providing the "public works update" Tuesday, they posted the project includes a complete resurfacing and striping of the structure.

As part of the construction, a new fire suppression system is being installed, the Facebook post stated.
