Long Beach Man Arrested On DWI, Child Endangerment Charges: PD

A harassment/disorderly conduct arrest was also part of the Long Beach police weekly crime report.

LONG BEACH, NY — As part of the weekly crime report by the Long Beach Police Department, there were five incidents on May 29 and May 30.

  • Joseph Glasser, 41, was taken into custody on a charge of DWI on May 29, police said. He also faces a child endangerment charge and aggravated DWI with children in his vehicle, detectives said. It happened on West Park Avenue.
  • A 59-year-old Rockville Centre man was charged with DWI, police said. William Gerneglia was arrested on May 29, detectives said.
  • Devi Harrydath, 33, of Roslyn, was arrested on May 30, detectives said. He was charged with harassment with physical contact and disorderly contact. Police said that Harrydath used obscene language.
  • Amarali Shahrukh Khan, of Arverne, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license, detectives said.
  • George Buzzetta, 29, was charged by police with disorderly contact using "unreasonable noise" as written in the crime report.
