Long Beach Man Charged With Violent Behavior In Fight: Police

The weekly arrest report also features an 18-year-old arrested on a charge of intent to cause physical injury with a weapon.

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Police Department released its arrest report for the week ending June 28.

  • James Harris, 25, of Long Beach, was charged on June 26 with disorderly conduct and violent behavior stemming from a fight at West Beech Street and Vermont Street, police said.
  • Dakota Surowiecki, 18, of Long Beach, faces a charge of intent to cause physical injury with a weapon and a charge of assault with intent to cause physical injury. detectives said. The incident happened on June 26 between New York Avenue and Ocean Beach Park, police said.
  • Also on June 26 at the same New York Avenue and Ocean Beach Park location, Josue Maldonado, 18, of Island Park, was arrested and charged with intent to cause physical injury, detectives said.
  • Michael Luback, 18, of Oceanside, was arrested and charged with intent to cause physical injury, police said. It also happened on June 26 between New York Avenue and Ocean Beach Park.
  • Michael Poisson, 57, of Long Beach, was taken into custody on June 25 and booked on charges of aggravated DWI and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway, police said in the news release.
