Long Beach Man Found, 'Silver Alert' Called Off

A Long Beach man who was reported missing has been found, according to Nassau County Police. 

Shawn Vandoff, 21, was reported found on Monday.

The Silver Alert Program, part of Nassau County Police Department’s R.E.A.C.H. (Return Every Adult and Child Home) initiative, was established to release information rapidly in the event that a senior citizen or an individual suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive disorder goes missing.
