Long Beach Man Wanted for Assaulting an Officer
Darryl F. Coad, a Long Beach resident, is wanted for the assault of a police officer.
Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with locating a man who assaulted a police officer.
Crime Stoppers, the Nassau County Police Department and the Long Beach Police Department are looking for Darryl F. Coad, 54, of Long Beach.
On July 23 at 6:25 p.m., Long Beach narcotics detectives were attempting to arrest Coad for drug offenses. Coad, whose nickname is “Froggy” or “Frog,” punched a detective in the face breaking his jaw and fled the scene.

Coad is described as a black, dark-skinned man, approximately 5’11” in height and weighing 215 pounds with brown eyes and hair.
