LONG BEACH, NY— A Long Beach man who's battled the city for months over his conservative flag displays has filed a lawsuit alleging he was not violating any ordinances, and that he was unfairly targeted for his views.

The $25 million dollar lawsuit claims that Michael Wasserman was unfairly cited by the city for flying pro-Trump, Thin Blue Line and American flags, because corporations are exempt from local ordinances.

According to the NY Post, the Long Beach Police Department visited Wasserman in March after neighbors complained about the flags on his car and residence.
