Long Beach Streets Flooding Because Of Storm
Drivers should stay off the road if possible, as some flooding is a foot deep or more in some places.

While the snow may not have been nearly as much as predicted, the winter storm that hit Long Island on Tuesday delivered on its promise of coastal flooding in Long Beach.
The City by the Sea saw streets flooding with water Tuesday afternoon as the storm turned from snow to rain. Several streets across the city were underwater, and residents were advised to stay off the roads wherever possible.
Water seemed to be up to a foot deep in places, and caused cars to stall. Ice could also been seen floating in the water in pictures.
