Long Beach's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Long Beach so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th in Long Beach:

July 4th Festivities

• What: Town of Hempstead's Salute to Veterans
• Where: Town Park in Point Lookout
• When: Saturday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. (rain date June 30)

The Town of Hempstead is holding its annual Salute to Veterans, honoring some of the town's bravest residents. After the program, there will be a performance by That 70's Band, and then a fireworks display.

• What: Long Beach Fireworks Extravaganza
• Where: Long Beach boardwalk and beach
• When: Friday, July 4 at 7 p.m.

The festivities begin on July 5 at 3 p.m. with multiple food carts and craft vendors on the boardwalk. At 7 p.m., the beach concert featuring the Gold Coast Orachestra will begin, with the bandwagon set up on the Long Beach Boulevard beach. The fireworks will go off from a barge anchored off shore, so anyone on the boardwalk or on the beach should have a great view.
