Man Speeding In Long Beach, Charged With Reckless Driving: Police
John Nealy, 19, of West Hempstead, also attempted to elude officers, police said.

LONG BEACH, NY — A man, speeding and driving aggressively, was arrested early Monday, Long Beach police said.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, as it drove recklessly through an intersection filled with people on the sidewalk and in the street near East Broadway, detectives said.
The driver refused to slow down. However, police were able to stop the vehicle when it got stuck in traffic. John Nealy, 19, of West Hempstead, was placed in custody. and charged with reckless driving and third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, police said in a news release.
