Next Phase Of Long Beach Bridge Work To Begin Monday
One lane of the bridge will be closed every day while the work is ongoing.
LONG BEACH, NY — Another phase of work is set to begin on the Long Beach Bridge this week.
Nassau County contractors will begin the third phase of the bridge work on Feb. 8. While the work is ongoing, one lane will be closed each day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The county DPW is repairing the structural steel under the bridge.
The work is currently scheduled to be completed on Friday, Feb. 19. That could be delayed by inclement weather.
