Obituary: Dorothy Uehlinger McElwreath, of Long Beach, Dies at 90

Died: April 23, 2016

Visitation: Thursday, April 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, April 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Macken Mortuary Rockville Centre Chapel on 52 Clinton Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Service: Saturday, April 30 starting at 9:15 a.m. at the St. Ignatius Martyr RC Church on 721 West Broadway in Long Beach.

Obituary: Dorothy Uehlinger McElwreath (nee: Karthaus), of Long Beach, passed away on Saturday, April 23. She was 90.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Regina and her siblings; Edward, Robert, and Eileen Donovan.

She was also predeceased by her husbands, Gerard P. Uehlinger and Robert J. McElwreath.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Marijane, Timothy, Edward (Mary Elizabeth), John (Ann), and Gerard Jr. and her stepchildren; Robert Jr, Maureen, Edward (Leslie), and Patricia (Dennis) Donohue.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Interment will take place the cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury.
