Here’s a roundup of weekend events across the island for July 25-27.

Which county has the brawniest police fleet, Suffolk or Nassau? Find out on Friday evening at this beach event and then stick around for raffles, prizes and a live performance by Eagles tribute band Desert Highway.

Family Movie Nights

Princess Bride will be held as part of the summer movie series.

Huntington Arts Festival

All weekend long, the different bands will perform as part of this year’s summer arts festival. First up, Chameleon featuring Harvey Mason, Jimmy Haslip, Patrice Rushen, Bill Summer and Azar Lawrence. Vijay Iyer Trio and Swingtime Big Band perform this weekend as well.

  • Where: Chapin Rainbow Stage in Heckscher Park on Main St. and Prime Ave.

Port Washington Summer Community Band Performance

Free concert Fridays will continue throughout the month of August, but this Friday is the Port Washington Summer Community Band’s final concert for the season. Performing as well is Nate Krantz and some of the chorus from the Port Summer Show.

  • Time: 8:15 p.m.

Friday Night Downtown Sounds Concert Series

Strawberry Fields, a Beatles tribute band, will perform.

Saturday

Bellport Day Festival

The annual festival returns this summer with local merchants, live music, games, rides and more.

  • Where: Around Bellport
  • Time: 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free admission

 23rd Annual Lobster Fest

Enjoy a lobster or steak dinner complete with local corn and watermelon while live music plays in the background. Kids meals are available for children.
  • Where: Founders Landing Wharf House, Southold
  • Time: 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Cost: $40 in advance, $45 at the door, $7 for kids under 12

2nd Annual Paddle Battle Long Island

Love canoeing or kayaking? This annual event will offer a variety of different races ranging from recreational and competitive to elite. Classes will be divided into age categories from 13 to 60.

  • Where: Peconic River waterfront
  • Time: Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
  • Cost: $50 in advance, $65 on race day

Manorhaven Beach Park Concert Series

Satisfaction, a Rolling Stone cover band, will perform.

  • Where: Manorhaven Beach Park, 158 Manorhaven Blvd.
  • Time: 7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free

Cinema on the Bay

For the Love of the Game will be screened.

  • Where: Sunset Park in Port Washington
  • Time: 8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free

Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Concerts

Fresh in the Park starring Christina Perri and Tegan & Sara will be screened. On Sunday, from 1-4 p.m., the park will host Children’s Day.

Eisenhower Park’s International Nights

Tonight is Polish-American Night at the Park.

Sunday

Lady Antebellum Take Me Downtown Tour

The Nashville trio will make a stop at Jones Beach theater with special guests Joe Nichols and Billy Currington.

  • Where: Nikon at Jones Beach Theater
  • Time: 7 p.m.
  • Cost: Tickets range from $31 to $57

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival

The U.S. Navy Band Northeast Pops Ensemble will perform a wide variety of musical styles including its traditional repertory of popular standards and patriotic favorites.

  • Where: Morgan Park, on Germaine St. at the end of Landing Rd., Glen Cove
  • Time: 7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free admission

Sunday Afternoons at the Beach

The Projekt will perform.

  • Where: North Hempstead Beach Park
  • Time: 1 p.m.
  • Cost: Free admission, parking fees apply
