Pair of DWI Arrests By Long Beach Cops
Multiple people charged with having suspended drivers' licenses charged as part of weekly crime report.

Long Beach — Police arrested a 60-year-old Long Beach man, charging Ashraf Abaza with driving without a license.
Cops say Abaza was taken into custody April 14 on East Broadway. He allegedly was driving with a revoked license and unregistered vehicle.
- On April 15, police arrested 23-year-old Jamiece Hopper, 23. The defendant was charged with using a suspended license and registration.
- Police arrested Ashley Imani Neal, 21, of Valley Stream, for driving with a suspended license and registration as well. Neal was also charged for having no active insurance on the car.
- 58-year-old Joni Read was arrested and charged with DWI. Read, who lives in Long Beach, was stopped at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and East Broadway on April 19.
- Krystle Rochard faces a charge of DWI with a previous conviction. Rochard was arrested April 13 on Tennessee Avenue.
