'Pitch and Putt' Opens in Lido Beach
The golf facility has multiple pools, basketball and beach volleyball courts, cabanas, a dog run, and more.
A brand new “Pitch and Putt” facility opened this week at Nickerson Beach in Lido Beach.
The 155-acre facility overlooking the ocean features full size and kiddie pools, dog run, recreational vehicle sites, two tennis courts, a basketball court, baseball field, soccer fields, and six beach volleyball courts. Cabanas are also available on a lottery system.
All terrain wheelchairs are available for the disabled.

“The picturesque, seaside Pitch and Putt, created amongst the dunes of Nickerson Beach includes nine holes ranging in length from 47 to 105 yards,” said Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano in a statement this week. “Visitors can now enjoy a short round of golf next to one of the best beaches on Long Island.”
“Nickerson Beach is a fantastic resource that thousands of Nassau County residents are able to use. This wonderful new golf facility will provide even more fun for families,” added Legis. Denise Ford.
