Police Report: Arrests for Burglary, Grand Theft, Menacing

The following information was supplied by the Long Beach Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.

• Thomas O’Brien, 26, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property at Long Beach Police Department headquarters on Jan. 13.

• Ivan Maxwell, 28, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property at LBPD headquarters on Jan. 14.

• Scott Clark, 36, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration, two unsafe turns, no seat belt for driver, and failure to obey a police officer at Armour Street and East Pine Street on Jan. 14.

• Nelson Gonzales, 23, of Island Park was arrested and charged with grand larceny from a person, criminal mischief to disable equipment to prevent emergency call, criminal mischief with intent to damage property, petit larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest at East Walnut Street on Jan. 14.

• Joseph Minnieer, 22, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with burglary at Wisconsin Street on Jan. 15.

• Pedro Crespo, 36, of Pomona was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while impaired by drugs, and driving while ability impaired at New York Ave and Ocean Beach Park on Jan. 16.

• Nicholas DeFranco, 24, was arrested and charged with an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant and unlawful possession of marijuana at Wisconsin Street on Jan. 16.

• Shanique Weed, 22, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at East Pine Street on Jan. 16.

• James Kelty, 32, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI at West Park Avenue and Grand Boulevard on Jan. 17.

• Byran Cruz, 19, of Island Park was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at West Park Avenue on Jan. 17.

1. Marc Menzies, 25, of Levittown was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at West Park Avenue on Jan. 18.

• Mark A Hankins, 41, of Hempstead was arrested and charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon at the Long Island Rail Road station on Jan. 18.

• Robert Volini, 55, of Island Park was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, license restriction violation, and driving through a red light at West Park Avenue on Jan. 18.
