WATCH: Mt. Sinai South Nurses 'TikTok' For Nurses Week

OCEANSIDE, NY — The nurses at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside celebrated Nurses Week with a collection of homemade TikTok videos. Nurses from all different departments created the short musical clips to encourage and honor their colleagues during the coronavirus pandemic. 1,000 nurses work at the hospital.

Nurses Week begins Wednesday and lasts until May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, one of the founders of modern nursing.

"During the COVID-19 pandemic, our nurses have risked their own personal safety to deliver care under very difficult circumstances," a representative from Mount Sinai South Nassau said in a news release.
