West Hempstead will be holding its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday.
Those participating in the parade will assemble at 9:15 a.m. the St. Thomas Chapel on Hempstead Avenue.
The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. at Hall's Pond Park.
Participants
will be marching along
Hempstead Avenue to Roosevelt Boulevard. Once the parade reaches
Roosevelt Boulevard it will turn left until it reaches the Echo Park
parking field.
The parade will be followed by a Memorial Day ceremony, which will take place at about 11 a.m.
