Assemblyman Curran And Lynbrook Kids Aid Florence Victims

The assemblyman joined with the Lynbrook Titans and Chloe's Helpers to gather supplies for those impacted by the storm.

MALVERNE-LYNBROOK, NY - From Assemblyman Brian Curran: Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21 st AD), in conjunction with the Lynbrook Titans and Chloe’s Helpers, recently held a drive to collect much-needed supplies for victims of Hurricane Florence in North Carolina. Curran’s district office served as the drop-off location on September 27 and 28. All the collected supplies were then loaded on a truck and sent to North Carolina.

“Doing your part to make our country a better place to live doesn’t just mean helping those within a 30-
mile radius,” said Curran. “There are a lot of families struggling to rebuild after Hurricane Florence blew through the southern states and they need help. I am grateful to have been part of this project with the Lynbrook Titans and Chloe’s Helpers, and I hope the supplies we collected will help ease the burden of what a lot of families in North Carolina are dealing with. Thank you to all who helped with this event and a special thank you to those who donated!”
