Belmont To Host First Wine Tasting Event In September
The Belmont Uncorked will feature wines from Long Island vineyards, as well as from around the country and the world.
Belmont Park Racetrack will hold Belmont Uncorked — it’s very first wine tasting event — next month.
The event, which will celebrate wines from around the corner and around the globe, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 1:30 to 5 p,m. in Belmont Racetrack’s North Shore Terrace Club House. Tickets are on sale now at www.BelmontUncorked.com.
Representing the local producers will be some of Long Island’s most-popular wineries, including Pindar Vineyards, Pugliese Vineyards, and Duck Walk Vineyards. There will also be West Coast wineries like Niner Wine Estates (California), Rock Wall Winery (California), R. Steward & Co. Winery (Oregon), and the flagship wineries from the Kendall-Jackson family of wines: Gran Moraine, Stonestreet Estate Vineyards and Galerie Wines. And there will be a lineup of international wines, more than 30 in all, representing Italy, France, Brazil, South Africa and Israel.
