Lynbrook Village Board Agenda: Feb. 19

The Lynbrook Village Board of Trustees will be meeting tonight in Village Hall from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to review the 2013 tax grievance filings and conduct other business.
According to the agenda, the board will hold two public hearings -- one regarding sidewalk assessments and another on a proposed local law limiting bamboo -- at tonight's meeting and set a date (March 18) for a public hearing regarding NCCD grand projects.
The board will also consider staffing for a parking meter servicer and the village's Department of Public Works, as well as review the village's annual financial report, a stale check policy, and two payment requests.Â

The agenda also includes two requests to engage an engineer for a Merrick Road Streetscape grant and a Pedestrian Improvements grant, and discussion of the redevelopment of Langdon Street.
In addition to reviewing the 2013 tax grievance applications and the village's Strategic Plan, the board will also vote to amend the 2012 CHIPS Reimbursement, and discuss 35 Wilbur St.
