- Sometime between 10 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 18, unknown subject(s) stole a red 2000 Chevrolet Malibu at the Cherry Valley Shopping Center, located at 514 Hempstead Tpke.Â
- On Jan. 16 at 11:45 p.m., Sinan Ozkan, 47, of Floral Park, was arrested for DWI on Hempstead Turnpike.

 - On Jan. 19 at 10:06 a.m., a 22-year-old man from Jamaica was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, located at 77 Green Acres Rd.Â
