Crime Report: DWI Arrests, Car Damaged at Stop & Shop

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

West Hempstead

- Sometime between 11 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 15, and unknown person(s) took a wallet from an unlocked vehicle on Morton Avenue.

- On Dec. 8 at 11:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) caused damage to a vehicle at Stop & Shop on Cherry Valley Avenue. 

- On Dec. 14 at 3:10 a.m., Melvin Y. Valle, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with DWI on Westminster Road and Hempstead Turnpike. 

- On Dec. 15 at 4:15 a.m., Pierre R. Valentin, of Uniondale, was arrested and charged with DWI on Hempstead Turnpike and Nassau Boulevard. 

- On Dec. 17 at 2:13 a.m., Jifferis W. Tyler, of Virginia Beach, was arrested and charged with DWI and a suspended license on Hempstead Avenue and Woodview Road. 

Franklin Square

- On Dec. 18 at 4:45 a.m., Marianna C. Tolomeo, of Elmont, was arrested and charged with DWI on Franklin Avenue and Scherer Boulevard.
